Saint Anna Winery

Near the village of Kato Potamia, in the mountainous region of Naxos, we meet Manolis Petrakis, the owner of the “Agia Anna” Winery.

Manolis has been involved with Naxos and its production since childhood. He later studied at the American Farm School of Thessaloniki and then at the Agricultural University. After completing his studies, he lived in Athens for several years. However, his love for his homeland and the wines produced there brought him back to Naxos permanently in 2016, where he continued the winery his grandfather had founded in 2009.

The name “Agia Anna” comes from the small Byzantine chapel of Saint Anna located on the property. What makes Manolis stand out is his deep knowledge of the land. The island’s landscape and climate are ideal for producing this distinctive result. Visitors can experience the winery through a guided tour and enjoy local products.

The aim is to promote local production and help people understand the producers’ passion for their work.
